Presidential: Ventura was behind Marcelo in São Brás de Alportel, Tavira and VRSA

In VRSA, João Ferreira got a vote well above the average he had at regional level

Voters from São Brás de Alportel, Tavira and Vila Real de Santo António voted in the majority for Marcelo Rebelo de Sousa, as expected, and preferred André Ventura to Ana Gomes, in the race for second place.

In São Brás de Alportel, the reelected President had 57,04%, followed by André Ventura (17,65%), Ana Gomes (11,78%), Marisa Matias (4,47%), João Ferreira (3,93, 3,18%), Vitorino Silva (1,95%) and Tiago Mayan Gonçalves (XNUMX%).

In Tavira, the percentage achieved by Marcelo Rebelo de Sousa was 59,51%, followed by André Ventura (14,24%), Ana Gomes (12,53%), Marisa Matias (5,25%), João Ferreira (3,54%), Tiago Mayan Gonçalves (2,5%%) and Vitorino Silva (2,44%).

VRSA had a different behavior from the other two municipalities, although the “podium” is the same: Marcelo Rebelo de Sousa (55,28%), André Ventura (16,57%) and Ana Gomes (10,92%).

However, in this municipality where the communists have traditionally had good results, the 4th position was guaranteed by João Ferreira, who managed 8,17%, well above the average for the Algarve region as a whole. This is followed by Marisa Matias (5,14%), Vitorino Silva (2,21%) and Tiago Mayan Gonçalves (1,71%).

As for abstention, it was higher in VRSA (63,67%), followed by São Brás (59,49%) and Tavira (57,45%).
