Presidential: Marcelo wins in Faro, Ventura in second with 47 more votes than Ana Gomes

Fight for second place was close

The clear victory in line with the national results of Marcelo Rebelo de Sousa, as well as the very close fight for second place, won by André Ventura, but only 47 votes from Ana Gomes, marked today's presidential elections in Faro.

The still President, who should soon see his re-election confirmed, had 56,75% (15.041 votes), followed by André Ventura, with 14,44% (3827 votes) and Ana Gomes, with 14,26 (3780 votes) .

In fourth place was Marisa Matias (4,61%, 1221 votes), closely followed by João Ferreira (4,55%, 1205), Tiago Mayan Gonçalves (3.04%, 805) and Vitorino Silva (2,35 %, 624 votes).

In the Algarve capital, there are 56.565 registered voters, of which 27.047 voted, which puts abstention at 52,18%.
