Castro Marim City Council promotes next Tuesday, January 19th, at 16 pm, a conference via Zoom to clarify and debate about the project of Surrounding the Casa do Sal.
The session will count with the participation of the architect-designer José Alberto Alegria and the entire technical team of the Municipality of Castro Marim and «will deal with contents such as an alternative traffic plan, the work plan of the work and its inherent constraints».
The clarification session is broadcast live on Castro Marim Municipality Facebook, but to ask questions and participate you should send an email requesting a call to [email protected].
Applications must be submitted by 12:00 noon on Tuesday, January 19th, or an access link to participate may be provided.
The Casa do Sal Surrounding Project is, stresses the Municipality, «one of the most awaited urban interventions in the town of Castro Marim, which involves the redevelopment and enhancement of this public space, the area where the monthly markets and access to the House are held. do Sal and the center of the village».
«With an aesthetic concern and harmonization for this new central area of Castro Marim, the project also aims to enhance the gentle modes of mobility, contemplating several pedestrian areas and an area of gardens that prioritized the current environmental concern, having been made a reduction of 3200m2 to about half of garden space. The traditional materials and techniques of the region will predominate, such as traditional plastering, regional tiles or limestone masonry», reveals the municipality.
The Requalification of the Multifunctional Space Surrounding Casa do Sal is financed under the CRESC ALGARVE 2020 Program [Investment Priority 6.5], a project included in the Action Plan – PARU, supported by Portugal and the European Union, 65% co-financed by FEDER
