João Ferreira, communist candidate for the Presidency of the Republic, participates, with Jerónimo de Sousa, general secretary of the PCP, in a rally on the 9th of January, at 18:00, at the Pavilhão da Fissul, in Silves.
"This rally, which will take place in a large covered space, will ensure adequate health protection measures against the epidemic (physical distance, respiratory tag, marked and distinct circuits, disinfection of spaces and equipment, etc.)", guarantees João Ferreira's candidacy .
The João Ferreira rally in the Algarve, coinciding with the opening of the official electoral campaign period, will also feature the presence and intervention of Rui Ribeiro, regional representative of the candidacy, and Jerónimo de Sousa, secretary general of the Portuguese Communist Party.
The Presidential Elections are scheduled for the next 24th of January.
