It has already been removed and taken to a shipyard in Lagos the pleasure boat that sank yesterday off Praia da Luz and which posed a risk to navigation, as it was semi-submerged, revealed the National Maritime Authority (AMN).

The vessel, which was «500 or 600 meters east of Praia da Luz, in front of the place known as Rocha Negra» was removed from the site yesterday, around 13:30 pm, and taken ashore, in an operation by the command of Lagos da Maritime Police.

"The surrounding area was analyzed by the National Maritime Authority, with no signs of spillage of fuel, lubricants or pollutants having been verified".

The wreck took place yesterday morning, around 9:30 am, when the vessel, with three French crew, hit a rock and began to take in water.
