Chamber welcomes the Tennis Center of Faro for the title of national champion

The CTPF team defeated the Clube Ténis do Porto team by 3/2

The City Council welcomes the Tennis and Padel Center of Faro (CTPF) which, this week, was crowned national champion of men's senior teams of the 1st Division, in tennis.

In the final of the national championship that took place for five days at the Center for High Performance of the Portuguese Tennis Federation in Jamor, the CTPF team defeated the Clube Ténis do Porto team by 3/2 in the total of the five matches played over the course of six hours.

Before, the team of Faro he defeated Clube Escola de Ténis de Oeiras (CETO) by 5/0 and Clube de Ténis da Foz also by 5/0, thus ensuring access to the final where he ended up securing the national title against the Porto team.

The City Council of Faro sends, in a press release, «greatest congratulations to the athletes who gave everything to achieve this national title – José Ricardo Nunes (captain), João Graça, Francisco Silvestre, Tiago Pereira, Tiago Cação, Neils Desein, Zapata Moralles, Terence Das and André Nunes -, in addition to the other athletes, coaches and directors of this club where more than 15 thousand practitioners and several athletes who have been part of the national teams of this modality have passed through».
