On the 19th of November, the Silves and Silves Sul School Groups received 200 tablets, offered by the Chamber, to be distributed to students who do not have this equipment.
This initiative, in conjunction with these two Groupings of Schools, "is part of a set of measures that the executive council led has taken to support families in the face of the harmful impacts of the current pandemic of the new coronavirus."
The Municipality says that "it intends, with the delivery of more tablets, to ensure and promote equal opportunities in access to education, when it is necessary for teaching to be at a distance".
