The concert “Sinfonia nº7 op 278”, by Jorge Salgueiro, accompanied by Ventania Orquestra, will take place this Saturday, November 28, from 21 pm, broadcast on social networks of the Câmara de Lagoa.
This initiative takes place within the scope of Ventania – Barlavento Performing Arts Festival”, in the Carlos do Carmo Auditorium (Lagoa).
Jorge Salgueiro has been composing regularly since he was 14, being the author of over 230 works, such as operas and symphonies.
Between 2000 and 2010 he was composer-in-residence of the Banda da Armada Portuguesa and is currently a member of the artistic direction of the theater group and composer-in-residence of foco musical.
