Docapesca awarded the contract to improve the Santa Luzia fish sales point, in the municipality of Tavira, for the amount of 35.500 euros and a deadline of 50 days.
«The intervention includes, among other works, the removal of the fiber cement roof (which contains asbestos) and its replacement with naturocement and also covers the painting of the building and the replacement of gates, doors, glass, mosquito nets, fixed frames, gutters slides, profiles, staves, fittings and fittings», says Docapesca.
This intervention “will be carried out without interruptions in the activity carried out at the station”.
In 2019, the Santa Luzia fish sales outlet handled around 324 tonnes of fish, representing sales of 2,22 million euros, with a natural incidence on the common octopus, so characteristic of this auction.
