The City Council of São Brás de Alportel has launched paving and repair works on municipal roads in several places in the municipality.
The interventions, which will cost around 20 thousand euros plus VAT and are under the responsibility of the company Vitor Manuel & Pedro Lda, «consist in the replacement of floors, cutting and milling, reinforcement of berms, lifting of frames and covers, cleaning and application of bituminous », according to the municipality.
These works “are carried out annually by the municipality within the scope of a phased municipal plan, to carry out the maintenance of municipal roads and, in this way, contribute to greater safety, as evidenced by the low rates of road accidents”.
On the other hand, highlighted the City Council of São Brás de Alportel, investment in accessibility also contributes to the «social, touristic and economic dynamics» of the municipality.
