This year, the company Águas do Algarve and the entire Águas de Portugal Group join the Giving Tuesday Movement, supporting the Acreditar Association.
Giving Tuesday is the world's largest solidarity movement that aims to create a wave of generosity that reaches everyone on the planet under the motto “you can change”. It's a day for everyone, anywhere, to give and give back to their community.
Acreditar is an association made up of a sharing and support network made up of children, young people, parents and friends that, since 1994, has helped to better face the dynamics that childhood cancer imposes.
The Association monitors every moment of the disease, at the Casas da Acreditar, in hospitals or at home, and offers emotional, logistical, social or other support that families may need.
