The top ten students in Secondary School in Portimão received tickets to watch the Formula 1 Grand Prix, which started today and lasts until Sunday, at the Autodromo Internacional do Algarve.
This initiative by the Municipality of Portimão, in partnership with Parkalgarve-Autódromo Internacional do Algarve, «intends to recognize the merit of those young students, marking in a different way the passage of the largest motorized sporting event in the world through the municipality».
«In addition to the tickets, the students received community masks allusive to the anniversary, with the delivery taking place in the paddock area of the Portimao MotorSports Village, located on the riverside of the city», added the municipality of Portimo.
In that same area of Portimão, next to Arade, it will be possible to “watch live broadcasts of free training on giant screens, installed in this area and in Alameda da República”.
