Spooky stories for kids and adults mark Halloween in Portimão

Municipal Library prepared many surprises

Halloween, better known in Portugal as Halloween, will be marked this year in Portimão, with initiatives promoted by the Manuel Teixeira Gomes Municipal Library (BMMTG), especially aimed at children, from today until October 30th.

Thus, BMMTG will tell daily at 17:00 pm, five chilling stories about witches, frogs, wolves and scary magic. The narratives are aimed at children aged 3 years and over, who can watch it on Facebook, in https://www.facebook.com/BMMTGPortimao

Also from October 26th to 30th, at 23 pm, several suggestions for bewitched readings for adults can be followed at the same email address.

For October 30th, the free and dramatized adaptation of María Mañeru's short story “Who invented Halloween?” was reserved, presented on video in 1st and 2nd cycle schools in the municipality of Portimão, the same target audience of the didactic action “ How do you make a puppet?”. Applications for both initiatives must be made to the email [email protected]

On the eve of Halloween, October 31, Quinta Pedagógica de Portimão collaborates with the Library's programming, allowing children and adults to watch online, in https://www.facebook.com/BMMTGPortimao, to the videos “Sopa de Travessuras” (11:00), “Witches' Pumpkin Cake” (15:00 pm), “How do you make a puppet?” (17:00 pm), and "Who invented Halloween?" (21:00 pm).
