Five users and two employees of the Santa Casa da Misericórdia home in São Brás de Alportel were diagnosed with Covid-19. The remaining users and all employees have already been tested, «all being negative», announced this Sunday, at the end of the evening, the City Council of São Brás.
The municipality also assured that, "at the moment, the situation is under control and all the people who tested positive are doing well."
This case is being closely followed by the Local Health Delegate and health care «is being provided by the health professionals of Santa Casa da Misericórdia and in close coordination with the local Health Services, in accordance with the norms established by the Resolution of the Council of Ministers of 14 October».
However, added the City Council of São Brás de Alportel, "the Contingency Plans for the Nursing Home for the Elderly of Santa Casa and the Municipality were activated, with due monitoring of the Municipal Civil Protection Service."
