A 33-year-old man was arrested this Thursday, 3 September, after being caught in the act stealing clothes from Mar Shopping stores, in Loulé.
According to the GNR, "the individual was stealing garments from several stores in the shopping centre, when he was detected by private security personnel" at Mar Shopping.
In addition to the bags with stolen clothing, the GNR found "several items" in this man's car, worth more than 570 euros in stolen goods.
“All the stolen items were returned to the respective commercial establishments and the vehicle was seized”, says the GNR.
After police investigations, "it was also possible to determine that the accused is suspected of several thefts in commercial establishments."
The man was arrested, constituted an accused and, having been present at the Judicial Court of Loulé, he was given the measure of coercion of term of identity and residence.
