Farense lost 1-0 to Nacional, in a game counting for the XNUMXst League played this Sunday at Estádio Algarve. the team of Faro again gave good signs and created many goal situations, but the Madeirans were more effective and got the three points.

Nacional started the game showing that they wanted to have the ball, but Farense quickly balanced it and created the first great chances to score.

And there were three in a row, following the same corner kick and successive recovery of the ball by the men from Faro.

At 18 and 19 minutes, another two shivers for the defense of Nacional. First Ryan Gauld, then Stojiljkovic created good scoring opportunities, especially the latter, which forced the Madeirans' goalkeeper to apply, to avoid the goal.

But, despite creating opportunities, Farense continued to fail to score their first goal, returning to the top echelon of Portuguese football.

After half an hour, Nacional managed to rebalance the match and proved to be more aggressive and dangerous, adding some good opportunities.

Even when the curtain came down, Lucas Scheid, from Farense, tried an acrobatic shot, but didn't hit the ball well and the game was even tied at zero for the break.

Farense came back from the locker room with a desire to take the lead and created several opportunities in the first few minutes.

But it was Nacional who scored, by Riascos, who on 58 minutes shot hard from outside the area and made it 1-0 for the Madeirans.

Farense continued to try to reach the goal, but didn't hit the time to finish.

Until the end, it was more with the heart than the head that the Algarvians tried to reach, at least, a draw, but that proved insufficient to change the luck of the team. Faro.

With this new defeat, Farense continues without scoring in the I League, when two rounds are played.

This despite, once again, having created more than enough opportunities to achieve a positive result.
