The Political Commission of Socialist Women – Equality and Rights of Tavira and the PS of Tavira are organizing, this Tuesday, 22nd of September, at 21 pm, an online conference dedicated to the theme “The New CCDR and Decentralization”.
The initiative, which will be broadcast through the ZOOM platform, will be moderated by Ana Paula Martins, president of the Tavira Chamber, and, as speakers, Jorge Botelho, Secretary of State for Decentralization and Local Administration, and José Apolinário, deputy and candidate for chairman of the Algarve Regional Coordination and Development Commission.
«This action takes place at a time when the direct election of the presidents and vice-presidents of the CCDR will be carried out by an electoral college composed of the presidents and councilors of the Municipal Chambers and the presidents and members of the Municipal Assemblies, scheduled for the next 13th October', explain the organizers.
The closing will be done by Margarida Flores, coordinator of the Socialist Women of Tavira.
