Four firearms, ammunition and two sights were seized today by the GNR, in Tavira, from a man suspected of domestic violence.
The Research and Support Center for Specific Victims (NIAVE) of Faro complied with a warrant to search the residence of the alleged aggressor, following the investigation into an episode of injuries and threats to the 37-year-old ex-partner.
In this operation, three shotguns, a rifle, two rifle magazines, 46 cartridges, 28 ammunition, a day sight and a night sight were seized.
All this armament “was properly documented”, according to the GNR.
The 44-year-old man was appointed a defendant and the facts were referred to the Judicial Court of Tavira.
