João Fernandes, president of the Algarve Tourism Region, who was in Carvoeiro yesterday to sign a protocol on wine tourism, said that the Tourism Office, located a hundred meters from the beach, will now be the object of refurbishment and modernization works.
However, its facilities were provisionally moved, thanks to the collaboration of the Municipality of Lagoa, which provided the space. «There is a need to intervene in the Tourism Office», which has not been touched for many years, and this is now possible due to the «fast diligence» of the Lagoon municipality.
