The film “Variações” will be screened this Friday, July 31, at 21 pm, at Largo das Piscinas Municipais de Silves, as part of the open-air cinema cycle.
This film portrays the life of the artist António Variações. Admission is free, but subject to compliance with the guidelines issued by the DGS regarding outdoor cultural activities.
The objective of this activity is to «promote and dynamize a cultural offer suited to the Covid-19 times and bring cinema to the population of the interior parishes, in this summer period, through open-air cinema sessions, something that was very common “in the times” of our parents and grandparents», explains the municipality.
Due to the current pandemic, there are restrictions to be aware of. The show venue will be delimited, access conditioned and controlled, and may only be made for holders of vouchers which will be provided on site.
There will be independent entry and exit circuits and an extended entry and exit period for the public.
The entry will be done in a phased manner, complying with the distancing rules. Seating places will have a distance of 1,5 meters and the session will have no breaks.
The use of a mask will be mandatory on access and whenever you walk around the venue. During the session, whenever you are seated, the mask can be removed.
Finally, it is not allowed to move the chair.
This is an initiative promoted by the City Council, in partnership with the Cineclube de Faro.
