À Babuja, by LAMA – Photo: Irina Kuptsova
Faro (July 16) and Vila Real de Santo António (July 18th) receive the show to the babuja, from LAMA Theatre. Two actors and a musician embody an Algarvian epic: a knight of modern times gives free rein to the horse of imagination with a co-driver, a noble lady to be serenaded with a serenade and, of course, enemies to face. A D. Rodrigo and a medronho would not be bad for him either.

It is a narrative inspired by five words deeply linked to the gastronomic universe of the Algarve – Alfarroba, Anchova, Medronho, Muxama and Dom Rodrigo.

Directed by João de Brito, this is a new creation launched in the 4th edition of 365 Algarve, and which has one of the most innovative and original voices in young Portuguese literature, Joana Bértholo.
