São Brás de Alportel bets on improving municipal roads

Works will cost 20 thousand euros

The City Council of São Brás de Alportel is paving and repairing municipal roads in different parts of the municipality, an investment of around 20 thousand euros that aims to increase safety and contribute to reducing accidents.

«These works are carried out annually by the municipality within the scope of a phased municipal plan, to carry out the maintenance of municipal roads and, in this way, contribute to greater safety, as evidenced by the low rates of road accidents», according to the municipality.

The interventions consist of “replacement of pavements, cutting and milling, reinforcement of berms, lifting of frames and covers, cleaning and application of bituminous”.

For the City Council of São Brás de Alportel, this type of investment is important “for social, tourist and economic dynamics”.
