The “Al Quimia”, restaurant of fine dining do Epic Sana Algarve, in the municipality of Albufeira, reopened its doors this Thursday, 25 June, being open only for dinners.

Al Quimia has the capacity to serve 30 dinners, “where the cuisine is experienced through the use of seasonal, local and mainly sustainable products”.
«Much of the inspiration for Al Quimia's gastronomy comes from the sea, and the space takes advantage of all the surroundings of the 8 hectares of the resort, with a strong presence of the fragrance of the pine trees that surround the scenery», he adds.
At Al Quimia, «the wine list highlights wines from the new to the old world, including low-yield Portuguese wines, always rewarding extreme quality and the enrichment of the wine culture».
The team is led by chef Luís Mourão, who continues to act as Executive chef, and who has Hugo Ribeiro as sommelier and Tiago Nunes as pastry chef.
Open from Tuesday to Saturday for dinner, from 19:00 pm to 22:30 pm, the customer can choose to have their gastronomic experience indoors or outdoors according to their preference and weather conditions.
Between two tasting menus (90 and 110 euros) with a vegetarian menu option (75 euros) or the freedom to choose à la carte, the customer can choose whatever he wants, and the restaurant complies with all the rules due to the current Covid pandemic -19.
