The Court of Auditors has already given the green light to the contract for the “Municipal Road Rehabilitation – EM 537 (Four Roads – Vila da Luz)”. The work can now advance.
At its last meeting, the Chamber of Lagos learned of the issuance of this declaration of conformity by the public procurement supervisory body, a decisive step in allowing the undertaking to proceed.
At this time, says the municipality, "the necessary technical-operational conditions are being prepared, and the works are expected to start during the second half of this month of June."
The contract for the renovation of Estrada Municipal 537 was awarded for the value of approximately 1,6 million euros, plus VAT. Lead time is 300 days.
«The work aims to improve the conditions of road, pedestrian and cycling mobility in Vila da Luz, a popular tourist hub in the municipality and the region», says the Câmara de Lagos.
"The project also provides for the requalification and creation of infrastructure, such as the complete renovation of the water mains, the drainage of river basins, the construction of water passages, the creation of a rainwater network and the remodeling of the low voltage distribution network and network telecommunications. The creation of a continuous lighting system and the remodeling of signage are other components present», he concludes.
