122 pre-school education professionals in the municipality of Olhão carried out diagnostic tests on Covid-10 today, 19 May, as part of the 3rd phase of decontamination and the consequent reopening of educational establishments.
The screening was promoted by the Municipality of Olhão, having tested the entire teaching and non-teaching staff of the pre-school.
The harvests were carried out by the Algarve Biomedical Center (ABC), the academic center for biomedical research and training in the Algarve, with the collaboration of Municipal Firefighters.
Since the risk of contagion by Covid-19 is still a reality, Isilda Pereira, from the direction of the Dr. Francisco Fernandes Lopes Group, points out the close cooperation that has existed between the municipality and the schools and underlines the importance of this measure by the Municipality. “which meets the fears of the school community and guarantees the safety of all: teaching and non-teaching staff, children and their families”.
The municipality says that, with this measure, it guarantees “the health security of all those involved in this reopening of pre-school”.
