Claque do Immortal plants a tree on the club's centenary day

Immortal was founded on June 24, 1920

The Imortal Desportivo Clube cheering club planted a tree, this Wednesday, June 24th, the day the club celebrates its 100th anniversary, next to the Albufeira Municipal Stadium.

The Red Race, the name of the cheerleader, wanted to mark this special day with the planting of a Ginkgo Biloba, a tree that is a symbol of longevity and peace for having survived the atomic attacks that Japan was subjected to in World War II.

The moment of planting was attended by members of the cheering squad, as well as José Carlos Rolo, mayor of Albufeira.

Founded on the 24th of June 1920, Immortal, one of the historic clubs in the Algarve, is now 100 years old.
