Urban art is shown in the electricity boxes of Armação de Pêra

During the months of April and May, artist Meire Gomes painted electricity boxes in the village of Armação de Pêra. 

This «action, which aims to increase interest in art in the municipality, as well as improve the quality of the urban space, is the continuation of a project started by the municipality, in 2016, with painting in graffiti of electricity boxes scattered throughout the city of Silves, as part of the commemoration of the International Day of Educating Cities», explains the Câmara de Silves.

The project was then extended to other parishes (such as Armação de Pêra) and the Municipality of Silve intends to continue promoting the initiative in other locations in the municipality.
