CTT stores will open extended hours to ensure service

CTT announced today that its stores will operate on extended hours, “to ensure the provision of service to the population”, in the context of the Covid-19 pandemic.

According to a statement sent by the company, the CTT stores will be open on weekdays between 9:00 am and 12:30 pm and between 14:00 pm and 17:30 pm, with the exception of those located in commercial spaces and airports, where the time of the space where they are inserted.

The service will continue to be done behind closed doors, “in order to minimize the permanence of customers in the store and to guarantee the distance between each customer”, says the mail distribution company.

Thus, only customers who are being served can remain in the store and the queue will be made at the door.

Customers will have to wear a mask inside the stores and CTT employees will be able to wear a mask, gloves and disinfectant gel.

CTT also recalls that the stores at Aeroporto das Lajes, on Terceira island, Azores, the Loja do Cidadão de Lisboa – Laranjeiras and the Loja do Cidadão de Odivelas are closed, due to the closure of those spaces.

Regarding CTT Points (Post Offices), the company informs that there may be changes in the opening hours or their closure, by decision of the CTT partners in the provision of this service.
