June is the month of reopening for hotels in the Algarve

There are hotels with special offers for the Portuguese market

Hotels in the Algarve are preparing for a return to normality and many of the units that closed – or not even reopened since last summer – due to the pandemic, will return to activity throughout the month of June. But there are those who return sooner.

The NAU Group will open the NAU São Rafael Atlântico and NAU Salgados Dunas Suites units, both in the municipality of Albufeira, this Sunday, May 31st. On Monday, the 1st, the NAU Salgados Vila das Lagoas apartments and the NAU Salema Beach Village (Vila do Bispo) tourist houses will reopen.

On June 5th, the NAU Salgados Palm Village, located in Herdade dos Salgados, will reopen and, finally, the NAU Salgados Palace is scheduled to reopen on June 27th.

Also on the 9th of June, PortoBay Falésia will open in Albufeira. In the case of this hotel, which will be the first in the group to reopen its doors, in this first phase, there will be an “approach especially aimed at the Portuguese market” and the unit will only provide a third of its capacity.

In Portimão, the Hotel Algarve Casino, of the Solverde group, also reopens on the 9th of June and, one day before, also in Praia da Rocha, the Jupiter Algarve Hotel reopens.

Finally, Vila Vita Parc, in Porches, in the municipality of Lagoa, will reopen the resort and its facilities on the 19th of June. Still, just for the Portuguese market, it starts on the 16th, a soft opening.

In addition to the domestic tourist market, the Airport of Faro has begun receiving international flights, which will also intensify during the month of June.
