Docapesca has launched a tender for the contract for the rehabilitation of the quays for the unloading of the auction and of the encircling vessels of the Fishing Port of Olhão (structure, technical gutter and fenders) in operation for over 30 years, with a base price of 330 thousand euros .
With this undertaking, «the intention is to improve the operational and safety conditions of all those involved in the activity of unloading fish, as well as guaranteeing the protection of the mooring of fishing vessels», stresses the company.
The auction and enclosure piers are the two main unloading piers at the Fishing Port of Olhão, with a berth of 151 meters and 295 meters, respectively.
Docapesca – Portos e Lotas SA is a company of the State Business Sector under the responsibility of the Ministry of the Sea, which is responsible, on the continent, for the service of the first sale of fish and support to the fishing sector and respective ports, with 22 auctions and 37 posts.
