The Covid-19 epidemic continues to force the suspension and cancellations of events. Today, the suspension of the spectaciles of the DeVIR Meetings and the cancellation of the Jazz das Adegas sessions scheduled for April were announced.

In the case of the DeVIR Meetings, the organizers, who had already canceled the first dates of the festival, which should have taken place this month, decided to suspend the other shows, which would take place in several rooms in the municipalities of Faro, Lagos and Loulé until May 30, «taking into account the current State of Emergency».

The program “will be presented on another date, to be announced”, according to DeVIR/CAPa, which organizes the meetings.

As for Jazz in the Cellars, the Silves Chamber has only announced the cancellation of the April sessions, which would take the groups Edgar Caramelo Quarteto and Quarteto Luís Bastos, respectively, to Adega JAAP (3 and 4 April) and Quinta Barranco Longo (April 17th and 18th).

«All those who have purchased tickets for these sessions may request a refund at the place where they were purchased, until the next 31st of May, or, in case the tickets were purchased on the online platform, contact BOL (through the information and reservations line 1820)', according to the Municipality of Silves.

The autarchy also revealed that «the deadline for refunding tickets for Side B with Marco Rodrigues and Jazz nas Adegas with Chibanga Groove was also extended to the date mentioned above, so those who have not yet requested their refund can do so. ».

Both initiatives are supported by "365Algarve", which canceled the entire schedule for the month of March.
