IEFP Training Center in Faro closed "just in case"

Student is waiting to know the results of the analysis

The Areal Gordo IEFP Training Center, in Faro, was this Wednesday, the 11th, closed "as a precaution", after a graduate was considered as a suspected case of infection with the new coronavirus.

To what Sul Informação found from an official source, the trainee is admitted to the Hospital of Faro, waiting for the results of the analysis you've already done.

The woman reportedly had a high fever last night, after having been at the Areal Gordo Center during the day, where she attended classes, was in the computer room and even in the cafeteria, contacting other students, trainers and staff.

For now, and as an “immediate precaution”, all the spaces where the trainee has been were “locked”, in addition to closing the Training Center itself.

All people – trainees, trainers and other employees – were informed about the situation and about the behaviors to adopt, and the Contingency Plan was activated.

If this case of Covid-19 is further confirmed, the IEFP Training Center will have to take more drastic measures, in coordination with the Health authorities, such as the "disinfection" of all facilities.
