The Pinheiro e Rosa Schools Group has an informal group called “Bike(b)us” which, every Wednesday, supports students' travel to and from the school.

This group is made up of teachers, guardians and other elements of the school community.

The “Bike(b)us” runs “a pre-defined route, incorporating students along these routes and helping them to comply with safety standards”, explains the Schools Group.

Departure from the Hospital roundabout at 8:10 am, going up Avenida Calouste Gulbenkian to Estrada Senhora da Saúde and arriving at EB Dr. José Neves Júnior at around 8:20 am. In the afternoon, take the opposite route.

This is an initiative that is part of the BikeMe project, whose main objective is to «change the paradigm of mobility in Faro, namely contributing to the students of the Group to acquire, from an early age, sustainable behaviors».
