Tomás Nunes, from Albufeira Surf Clube, and Constância Simões, from Clube Naval de Portimão, stood out in the second stage of the Regional Surf Circuit, played over the weekend at Galé beach, in Albufeira, winning each in two categories, in male and female, respectively.
The prizes for this competition were divided between athletes from three clubs, with Albufeira Surf Clube, playing at home, winning in three of the categories. Besides Tomás Nunes, who won in the U16 and U18 categories, Martim Brandão was the first in the men's U14 category.
The other men's title, the U12, went to Kai Lenderink, from Portimão Surf Clube.
In females, Constância Simões won in U16 and U18, the only two categories disputed by girls.
The 2nd stage of the Regional Surf Circuit, organized by Albufeira Surf Clube and the Portuguese Surf Federation, had 50 participants.
