Benfica's House of Faro qualified for the club final of the National Indoor Athletics Championship, in the II Division, with the men's and women's teams, last weekend, at the Expocentro pavilion, in Pombal.
«Even without being able to train properly in these last 2 weeks, because the Municipal Athletics Track of Faro was closed by the City Council of Faro for maintenance works, the Casa do Benfica de Faro managed to maintain the same level as the previous season», stresses the club in a note sent to the newsrooms.
The male athletes of the Casa do Benfica de Faro will fight to revalidate the title of National Champion, in the final to be held in Braga, on the weekend of 22 and 23 February.
The female athletes will try to improve their 6th place from the previous year.
