“Água e Sociedade” is the theme of the debate that will take place on the 18th of January, at 15 pm, at the Municipality of Silves. This is an initiative promoted in partnership between the University of Algarve, AlgFuturo and the municipality of Silves. Admission is free.
So far, these are the confirmed presences in this debate, which covers the area of the municipalities of Silves, Albufeira, Portimão, Lagoa and Monchique: Rosa Palma (President of Silves City Council), Paulo Águas (Rector of UAlg), José Vitorino (president of AlgFuturo), José Rolo (president of CM Albufeira) and Rui André (president of CM Monchique).
Measures to save water and its use, combating losses, identifying sources of water for a resource in case of need and future initiatives are some of the themes to be addressed in this action.
