Olhanense thrashed Pinhalnovense by 1-5, in a game of the 15th round of series D of the Portuguese Football Championship, played this Sunday, 22 December. The team from Olhão will enter 2020 at the top of the table.
This was a positive journey for the Algarve teams. Armacenenses beat Amora 1-0, while Esperança de Lagos managed to hold back a candidate for the climb - Alverca -, drawing 2-2.
Only Louletano had a less good result. Playing at home, Loulé's team did not go beyond a 1-1 against Lusitano de Évora.
In the classification, Olhanense continues in 1st place, with 36 points, the same as Real Massamá, which is in 2nd. Louletano occupies the 5th position (28 points) and Armacenenses the 9th (20 points).
Esperança de Lagos, finally, has 12 points conquered, occupying the 13th position, one place above the waterline.
The Portuguese Championship returns on January 5th, after the Christmas and New Year break.
