ISEG and Southern Region of the Ordem dos Engenheiros renew collaboration protocol

Protocol aims to maintain and expand the commitment to cooperation between the two entities

The Southern Region of the Order of Engineers (OE) and ISEG - Executive Education, the institution responsible for the executive training of the Higher Institute of Economics and Management (ISEG), have just renewed the cooperation protocol that governs the long-lasting institutional relationship between the organizations .

Signed by Jorge Grande Mendes, President of the Board of Directors of the Southern Region of the OE, and Luís Cardoso, President of ISEG Executive Education, this protocol aims to maintain and expand the commitment to cooperation between the two entities, in the context of advanced training at ISEG Executive Education.

The partnership between the Southern Region of the OE and ISEG Executive Education will include courses specifically designed for member engineers in the Southern Region, based on their needs for additional training; and participation, with preferential conditions, in courses and training actions regularly provided by the advanced training area of ​​ISEG.

"The signing of this protocol is part of the strategy of proximity of the Southern Region of the OE with the Schools and Higher Institutes of Engineering in its area of ​​operation, defined by the Board of Directors, with the objective of providing its members with quality training, to life, considered essential for the success of engineers in the current labor market”, says Jorge Grade Mendes, president of the OE's Southern Region Board of Directors.

Luís Cardoso, president of ISEG – Executive Education, refers, in turn, “Most Engineers develop a professional career during which they assume increasing management functions, for which updated and advanced training is crucial, particularly in areas such as Strategy, Leadership, Marketing and Finance. Through this agreement, it will be easier to ensure this training, thus contributing to the success of these professionals and career projection, as well as to the creation of value in their organizations”.
