Going to the ball this weekend is helping the homeless

The “Solidarity Stadium” initiative has the High Sponsorship of the President of the Republic Marcelo Rebelo de Sousa

Raising funds to support the homeless is the main objective of a national initiative of the Portuguese Football Federation that will take place in three stadiums in the Algarve, this weekend, December 21st and 22nd, as part of the 15th day of the Championship of Portugal.

In the Algarve, the initiative will then take place in three fields. Louletano hosts the Lusitano Ginásio Clube at Estádio Algarve, on Saturday, at 15 pm, and Esperança de Lagos hosts Alverca, at Estádio Municipal de Lagos, on Sunday, at 00 pm

Finally, there will also be the Armacenenses-Amora, at 15:00 on Sunday, at the Municipal de Armação de Pêra.

Olhanense will visit Pinhalnovense at Campo de Jogos Santo Jorge, with a match also scheduled for 15:00 on Sunday.

For each spectator present in the 36 matches of the 15th round of the Portuguese Championship, 1 euro will be donated by the FPF and by Santa Casa da Misericórdia of Lisbon. The total amount raised will revert to the institutions «Comunidade Vida e Paz», «Associação Médicos do Mundo» and «CASA – Support Center for the Homeless».
