the bars of Faro/Olhão, Albufeira, Alvor, Quarteira/Vilamoura, Tavira and Vila Real de Santo António are closed to all navigation, due to the high state of the sea, announces the website of the National Maritime Authority.
On the southern Algarve coast, only the bars of Baleeira (Sagres), Lagos and Portimão remain open.
Across the country, due to the storm at sea, there are 17 closed bars and six conditioned ones.
