Baby from Sagres transported to Hospital de Santa Maria is safe from danger

Baby "did not have any traumatic brain injury" as suspected

The five-day-old baby, who was transported by helicopter this Tuesday, December 17, from Sagres to the Hospital de Santa Maria, in Lisbon, is free of danger.

The guarantee was given by Hildeberto Carlos, father of the newborn, to the Sul Informação, explaining that the baby “did not have any traumatic brain injury”, as suspected.

The parent also told how this case happened.

The child "was in the egg that fell", and therefore there was no negligence on the part of the parents. It was, yes, an unfortunate bad luck.

The baby, male, is five days old and not two, as it was said this afternoon by INEM to our newspaper.
