Two-day-old baby transported by heli from Sagres to Hospital de Santa Maria

A two-day-old baby who suffered a traumatic brain injury after falling off a table, in Sagres (Vila do Bispo), this Tuesday, 17 December, he was transported by helicopter to the Hospital de Santa Maria, in Lisbon, according to the Sul Informação.

Source of the District Relief Operations Command (CDOS) of Faro he told our newspaper that the crash, which took place around 13:00, "happened at home."

The baby is male, according to the same source.

INEM confirmed to Sul Informação that the newborn has already been admitted to the Hospital de Santa Maria, where he will undergo “complementary exams”.

In the rescue operations, there were 9 operational and 4 vehicles, from the Vila do Bispo Fire Brigade, in addition to the INEM helicopter, parked in Loulé.
