Beatriz de Gonçalves won the Best Dissertation award this year, from the Algarve Regional Delegation of the Ordem dos Economistas, for her work “Liquidity determinants: the case of Greece”.
Born on December 22, 1990, Beatriz de Gonçalves was born in Olhão and it was at the University of Algarve (UAlg) that she graduated in Economics and obtained a Master's degree in Corporate Finance. Her professional experience began at the Faculty of Economics at UAlg, where she worked as a monitor of the Statistics and Data Analysis curricular units.
However, it is in the business sector that he has developed his professional activity, performing functions of monitoring investment projects and specializing in the area of corporate management control.
The jury also decided to award an honorable mention to the master Hugo Soares Gonçalves for his work “Regional Effects of Tourism In Portugal: a Multivariate Analysis”, having emphasized his contribution to a better understanding of the Algarve's economic reality.
The Ordem dos Economistas – Regional Delegation of the Algarve will organize a ceremony to distinguish these awardees, at the beginning of 2020.
