Rehabilitation of the road between Faro and Mar-e-War begins «in the coming days»

The EM 518-1 requalification work, which connects Faro the town of Mar-e-Guerra should start "in the coming days", announced today the City Council of Faro.

The contract for the execution of the contract was signed on the 17th of October with the company Candeias & Silva Lda.

The requalification of the road will cost around 274 euros and, according to the municipality, it is “an important work to improve the municipality's road network”.

The works envisage “the rehabilitation and repaving of the road, the reinforcement of the pavement, horizontal and vertical signaling and drainage”.

The Chamber of Faro It is worth highlighting the investment that has been made in the «requalification works of the entire road network in the county, in particular the connections to the designated rural parishes which, in the last 4 years, deserved the largest investment by the municipality on record, thanks to the implementation of the municipal intervention program "Faro Requalify”».
