The Out-(In)Verno Festival will bring together astronomical observations, hiking and a lot of culture in São Marcos da Serra, in the municipality of Silves, between the 1st and 3rd of November.
This will be the first moment of this initiative that integrates the “365Algarve” scheduleand intends to celebrate the 5th centenary of the circumnavigation of the earth.
The party takes place over three days, including concerts, walks, staged astronomy and Astro Party, exhibitions and workshops (see full program below).
«Out-(in)Verno approaches the locality thought globally, presenting proposals that think of our identity and that are aimed at everyone, allowing them to feel an immersive immersion in the history of the Algarve, in the history of the Country», according to the “ 365Algarve”.
"The premise that led to this proposal is based on the intrinsic relationship between the three axes: Art communicates Science thinking of Heritage," he added.
The Out-(in)Verno Festival will feature two other moments, one taking place on the 28th and 29th of February and the 1st of March, in Vila do Bispo, and the other taking place between the 8th and 10th of May, in Lagoa.
The organization of the event, under the responsibility of the company Céus do Sul and Questão Repetida – Cultural Association, highlights the possibility of participants being able to camp, free of charge, on the soccer field of São Marcos da Serra, with access to a spa.
If you prefer, you can also stay in one of the local accommodations in this mountain town in the municipality of Silves.
There are three types of tickets, one for three days, with discounts on all activities, the one-day wristband and activity tickets.
Tickets can be purchased online. Some of the activities are mandatory registration.
