The Municipal Library of Loulé will host the training action “The fascination of words: Sophia's tales for youth”, on Saturday, October 26th, from 10:00 am to 13:00 pm and from 14:30 pm to 17:30 pm.
Promoted as part of the commemorations of the centenary of the birth of Sophia de Mello Breyner Andresen, this initiative, promoted by Marta Martins, «is oriented towards the acquisition of knowledge and the review and adequacy of knowledge of literary texts to specific audiences», according to Loulé Chamber.
The concept of Literature, Juvenile Literature and Literature for adults, the characterization of characters, values and models, truth versus falsehood in the construction of identity, family and society as interveners in the construction of personality, the seduction processes of the juvenile reader are some of the topics that will be covered.
"We will seek to acquire knowledge from the analysis of texts and information that is systematised, in order to implement more active educational practices with children and young people," added the municipality.
Aimed at an adult audience (over 18), this action is credited to teachers. Participation is free but prior registration is required (limited spaces), via email [email protected] or telephone 289 400850.
