The beach at Arraial Ferreira Neto, in Tavira, on the edge of the Ria Formosa, will be cleaned by volunteers on Saturday, September 21st, from 9:00 am.
This is an initiative organized by the Centro Ciência Viva de Tavira and the Municipality of Tavira, which has the support of the Oceano Azul Foundation, as part of the International Coastal Cleaning Day, which is celebrated on September 21, and the OPP project -My Beach.
All material needed for cleaning, such as bags and gloves, will be made available on site.
Tavira's CCV also recommends that all participants wear comfortable shoes, a hat, sunscreen and that they should bring water.
