A true white wave invaded, this Saturday, 31st of August, the streets of the center of Loulé, with large thousands of people dressed in white, of all ages and nationalities. It was another successful edition of Noite Branca, which takes place every two years.
Through the air, white beings floated, like ghosts, while in the Market building two white giants welcomed the visitors. In the streets, music rang, there was a varied animation, always in motion, fashion, painting, visual arts, dance performances, again circus and theater.
The stores were open, also decorated in white, to get into the spirit of this party, which marks the end of August in the Algarve.
On the main stage, prominent names passed by, such as Conan Osiris (dressed in white), Gabriel o Pensador, or Christian F and DJ Ride, bringing the party to a boil…which was not even the color of the night.
Getting to Loulé was the end of the work, as queues of kilometers formed at all the entrances to the city. A sign of the initiative's success, but still an aspect that left many people unhappy.
