The Government extended the critical period of fires until 10 October, under the Forest Fire Defense System, due to the forecast of dry and hot weather.
In an order of the Secretary of State for Forests and Rural Development, Miguel Freitas, published this Monday in “Diário da República”, it is mentioned that the critical period is extended until 10 October due to the forecast of “maintenance of fire risk rural at high levels”.
