The service center of the Portuguese Association for Victim Support (APAV) in Alcoutim will be inaugurated on the 14th of October.
This space will be open on Mondays, from 10:00 am to 13:00 pm.
Through this APAV Service Center, practical, psychological, legal and social support will be provided to victims of crime, their families and friends, free of charge and confidentially.
Moreover, the Municipality of Alcoutim signed, together with other Algarve municipalities and national and regional entities, a protocol for preventing and combating violence against women and domestic violence.
This protocol therefore provides for various measures and actions, including training courses aimed at different professionals, awareness-raising actions, dissemination of informative material, research and scientific investigation works and studies, and the implementation of care services for victims of violence domestic.
